We do not collect payment card or bank account numbers — see "Payment information" below.

How we use it

• To process, confirm, and deliver your order.
• To contact you about your order (delivery updates, questions, warranty matters).
• If you have an account, to show you your own order history.
• To respond to enquiries sent through our contact form.

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell or rent it to third parties.

Who we share it with

Only AKGadgets staff involved in fulfilling and delivering your order see your details. We do not share your information with advertisers, data brokers, or other third parties for marketing purposes.

Payment information

AKGadgets currently supports Cash on Delivery, Bank Transfer, and Manual Payment Confirmation — arranged directly with our team. We do not process card payments through this website and do not store card or bank account numbers.

How long we keep your information

We keep order and account records for 5 years, unless a longer period is needed to resolve an open dispute or warranty claim, after which they are deleted.

Your rights

Zimbabwe's Cyber and Data Protection Act [Chapter 12:07] gives you the right to:

• be told when and why your personal information is being collected and processed;
• access the personal information we hold about you;
• have inaccurate personal information corrected;
• request deletion of your personal information where there is no legitimate reason for us to keep processing it; and
• object to how your information is processed, including for any marketing use.

Complaints

If you're not satisfied with how we've handled your personal information, you can raise it with us directly first, or lodge a complaint with the Postal and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe (POTRAZ), the authority designated under the Act to receive and investigate data protection complaints.
